1.Sheet metal processing

Firstly, the bonnet is processed starting with the core of the bonnet.

2. Checking the bonnet

The corner of the bonnet is examined to check its symmetry

3. Checking the bonnet (part 2)

The size of the bonnet is measured.

4.Putting a grill into the bonnet

A grill that matches the bonnet is then temporarily attached to check for the amount of damage to be repaired.

5.Sanding

• The bonnet is then sanded only around the damaged areas.

6.Sheet processing of the details

To ensure an even coating of the bonnet, all smaller components are removed from the inside.

7 Sheet metal processing (part 2)

Through the use of specialized tools and techniques the metal is restored to its original state.

8.Paper sanding

The bonnet is sanded using #120 sanding paper.

9. Spraying “surfacer”

After the repair work has been completed, the metal is finished by spraying a “surfacer” over it.

10.Grill

The grill, previously chosen for the bonnet, is then adjusted and affixed to it.

11.Counter reels

The bonnet is closely inspected to ensure no dents or bumps are present using counter reels.

12.Checking with a paper template

Using a paper template, the bonnet it assessed to ensure its quality.

13.The label approved and stamped

Once finished the bonnet is then labelled to certify its completion and repair work (also outlining the defect that was fixed.)
